I was sitting here looking through the Gallery section of our website and I realized how many people we’ve all had the pleasure of associating with. On the flip side of that there are a lot of people that have driven us nuts! At the end of the day all we can say without a doubt that these personalities have entered into our history and will always help define what are community is. I sat back and though of a few Idioms that I think everyone will appreciate about former and current guild members:
Getting Mappy’d
DEFINITION:
To do something absolutely terrible that completely overshadows everything else that is going on.
Example: “Thanks for making me this sandwich… wait. Did you forget the bread? You Mappy’d me.”
Pulling a Calindril
DEFINITION:
Doing something for the sheer sake of doing it just so you can say you did it.
Example: “You can get the recruit a friend mounts by creating a second account that you can recruit yourself and get more mounts. You Pulled a Calindril”
Laying Down a Hellwolf
DEFINITION:
Performed an unthinkable impossible task. Usually we cruel and adverse side effects.
Example: “Holy Shit, you ate 50 chimichangas in a single sitting? You totally laid down a Hellwolf!”
It’s all Vespeto to me
DEFINITION:
Meaningless and incomprehensible but extremely funny. You have no idea what this person is talking about but you can’t stop laughing!
Example: “he told me once that he dreams of a better tomorrow… where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned. It’s all Vespeto to me.”
Well there is a handful of examples I came up with – what do you have? Anyone that sticks out in your head?
