Yes, after putting together a group, Deathmike and I managed to head into False Emperor and down Darth Malgus with the help of 2 random strangers! Regardless, this counts as a Zergadins win!
Our set up used: BH heals, Merc BH DPS, Assassin DPS, Juggernaut Tank.
The fight is a fairly straight forward one, but has a few different strategies. I liked the one we used the best out of the 3 I’ve tried.
Upon starting the fight, have the healer and DPS run to the doorway to the left. There will be a little alcove. Have the tank get aggro on the boss with no one else touching Malgus. Tank runs with heals and DPS to alcove and tanks him with his back to the inside wall of it.
Malgus will randomly stun players as their minds “fill with doubt”, at the end of the duration, he will force choke everyone that player, and fight them one versus one as the player is “forced to face their destiny.” Survive the duration and then resume the fight. As with most hardmode bosses, it really comes down to how much DPS you are cranking out, so having a healer that can help out a bit helps. (I fired a missle or 2 with some rapid shots on the boss when I could.)
You will know he has enraged because you will be dead… =D
-Grokk out!
PS. In a completely unrelated and not important note in anyway, but I am forced by Zergadins law to add this…
Mappy joined the guild on SWTOR.
So there’s that.
