85º F today.  That’s 29.5º C for you Canadians.  It’s only March 15th.  To prepare you for the Hot Spring and Summer on the way, I present you with my Pool Side Mana Buff Menu!

The Ice Pick – Combine Vodka and Sweet Tea over crushed Ice.  Add an actual Ice Pick for uneasy glances poolside.  Easy and Effective!

The Wine Cooler – We don’t stand for no B & J ’round these parts.  Take a nice Merlot or Cab that’s been open for a day or two and combine with Sweet ‘n’ Sour Mix and 7UP.  Toss in a few slices of Citrus for a festive “I-Know-What-I’m-Doing look to it.

Corona – Slice some limes.  Drag said lime slice along the bottle neck.  Shove lime into bottle and insert your index finger into mouth.  Turn upside down (with finger still inserted).  While the lime floats the the “bottom” shake salt along pre-juiced neck.  Lick salt then drink beer.  Trust me, I’m a Doctor.

Mojito – This one’s gonna get complicated.  Make sure you are sober when you start to make these.  No one cares what they taste like after 3 of them.  Start by making your own simple syrup.  Boil one quart of water.  Add to an empty liquor bottle filled half way up with sugar.  Add water using funnel (Note you don’t need all that water).  Grats, you just passed Bar Tending 101.  Pick up some more limes, Fresh Mint, and Crushed Ice at your favorite retail outlet.  Perhaps you live on a farm and grow it, but whatever.  You will also need a Bar Pestle or Grinder to complete this affair.   Rip off some Fresh Mint, about 6 whole leaves, and drop into empty Collins glass.  Add about 3/4 oz o your homemade simple syrup and drop in two lime wedges .  You now have to “muddle’ the mint, syrup, and lime together.  Fill the glass with crushed Ice.  Over ice add 1 1/2 oz of Barcardi Superior Rum.  Top it off with 7UP.  Take your stainless steel shaker, what doesn’t everyone have these tools in your home?  Fine, you could also use a plastic 24 oz cup.  Using the shaker fitted onto Collins glass, mix the ingrediants by shaking them over your head.  Make sure the drink ends up in the shaker and place the Collins glass on the bar.  Pour the drink into glass.  The Limes should end up on top.

These drinks are for professionals only.  Seasoned Raiders must use caution when buffing these elixirs pool side.  Removal of Armor will occur and has happened on numerous occasions.
