Diablo 3 has arrived.

12 years after Diablo 2.  I hear it’s been consuming the time of many a Zergadin.  I was told last night “If you don’t need me, I’d like to get back to my Witch-Doctor!”  Of course I shuffled them off with a “Have fun,”  but it begs to question… Are we going triple platform?

In WoW you can see players on D3 using battle tags.  Not so  much when playing SWTOR.  Panzer and I have come up with a solution.  A calendar on the Zerg’ website.  (Note, still working out the background kinks!) You can see it under the GotW column.  I’m sending a credit bride to Dave so he’ll move it above all else because I believe that this is the best way for us all to coordinate our gaming schedules.

To transcend gaming barriers we’ll need to brake down the digital walls between us.  When logging in to your prefered game, when not turn on vent at the same time?  If we all get into the habit of turning our mics on when we hit our digital playgrounds it will help strengthen our community bonds.  I don’t log into WoW much, and I don’t’ see myself hitting D3 soon, I’d like to hear how its going for you guys!

I’d like to see Guild events set up that cross all platforms.  I’d be willing to download D3 and hit it with a guildie if we scheduled a beginner night.  What about a WoW beta scheduled run?

I feel this is the next logical step for us.
