New Hour of Twilight 5-Man Dungeons

These dungeons Can be run at ilvl 353, but I recommended ilvl 359. How do you get ilvl 359 gear for that alt you want to add to our roster of raid ready classes?

The answer: Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The rep you gained from leveling can get you very close to 359 from faction quartermasters. Slap on a tabard and gain that rep as you grind for justice points to buy ilvl 378 gear. Plan your purchases from Quartermaster and Vendors with complimenting items in mind.

Chaos orbs are going to become trade-able in the next patch. HOARDE THEM NOW! Some players might say that you should only roll greed for them. I say need. Because you need them, end of discussion. Use these orbs and the AH to gather the mats to make ilvl 365 weapons.

Cash is king, and it’s never been more true than on the Dragonmaw server. I just picked up ilvl 378 tanking bracers for 2700 gold. It might have been a typo when posting, but I profited form it just the same. Scan the AH and buy items to kit yourself out that are reasonable prices. The ilvl 359 boots are always a good buy at 600 gold and under!

RAID FINDER OMG!

As an established raiding guild, we might find little use for these runs on our mains. The real opportunity is for your alts. After you learn the fights you can que up and breeze through them to kit out super-fast. I recommend an ilvl 378 build out. The 378 gear will drop in the new 5 mans, as well as the Firelands. The FL will receive another rounds of nerfs before too long as well. There will also be restrictions on looting in Raid Finder. Once you down a boss, no more loot chances form that one again till reset. You can down him again for the valor at the end of a run, but that’s all you’ll get. Loot will be assigned roles as well. Tanks get a +100 bonus on rolls for tanking gear, healers etc… etc… The only issue with these designations would be with classes that rely on alternative means for tanking – i.e. DPS Leather for Bear druids and Two handed DPS weapons for Blood Death Knights. I’m sure Blizz will polish up the system before we need to que que about it too much.

ALTS FOR ONE, AND ONE FOR ALTS!

You need a geared alt. Level one up, or dust one off. You can build an alt that fills the same role as you currently have or could build the opposite. You’ll find yourself in valuable to the raiding environment much quicker than if you limit yourself to one viable raiding avatar.
