With the recent server change for Deaths Desires and the rush to reestablish the guild, Minecraft gaming has declined. This is perfectly fine, honestly, as it’s not meant to replace WoW but more supplement it. This still can be a little frustrating for those who manage to get on every day and still somehow miss anyone else by minutes.

Well, I predict a bit of an influx this week. Notch put a message out on facebook about 30 min ago that stated that 1.8, the entitled “adventure update”, will probably be out this week. While not a lot of information is out on it yet, what we do know is that there was more effort put into combat systems as well as the addition of a new creature that really doesn’t like being looked at.

A final stab at the near-obvious to close: those themed maps with story lines that players make? They’re called “adventure maps”. Think about it.
