WoW – An evening at the Darkmoon Faire

After our glorious guild first kill of Imperial Vizier Zor’lok, we took a unusual detour. As an entire raid group we went to..

The Darkmoon Faire!

The group traveled to Darkmoon Island with the purpose of dealing with a Killer Rabbit.  We never found it.  What we did find was even better, for some of us at least.

At the Faire, there is a big ‘ol tent where you can beat other players down to your dark heart’s content.  Needless to say everyone jumped right in to see what would happen.  A mess of unorganized chaos descended upon the group.  It was decided to split into pairs.  This didn’t help the situation, because no one followed the rule of death.  They just zoned back in.

In a moment of unusual clarity we decided to have a 5 on 5 War Game.  Who knew you could even que up for that type of un-ranked activity. /shrug

Monk Li and I we chosen as captains.  We rolled it out to see who got the first pick, dodge-ball rules engage. with an epic 75 I took the first choice of Hellwolf.  Monk picked Panzer, which left the door wide open for Calindril to be on my team.  Back and forth we went choosing.  I carefully selected Rilliafane and Brokenaces to round out my roster. We faced a team composed of Monk Li, Panzer, Jadin, Rivendare, Tosbeszijian, and Oros.

We fired up the War Game, staying in the same vent channel to keep the taunting in high gear.  Hellwolf singled out Panzer saying “I’ve been waiting a long time for this Paladin.”  Also something about Butt-Plugs and really giving it to the other team.  I’ll let the final score speak for itself.

An officer typed in /o chat “What about raiding?”  It was too late.  The blood lust had consumed us all and there was no going back.  Sidetracks like this keep our team in good spirits and ready to wipe over and over again on progression runs.
