With a lot more people hitting 50 and hitting up all the end game content, Bioware has wasted no time in releasing more new content for level 50 players to tackle, as well as new players and alts.

First and foremost: they’ve already cranked out a new raid and are working on the next part to it. I’m not sure how many of you finished the planet Taris yet, but the Rakghoul story is fairly interesting, and the idea of investigating an entire area over-run by them is pretty cool. Biggest thing I picked up on though from the Dev being interviewed? This raid content has been worked on the last year… Well before the game was even close to release they were already planning to release new content just a month AFTER release.

Second thing that caught my attention, and one of my biggest gripes: The Legacy system is finally being upgraded… It no longer simply serves as a server-wide last name placeholder. The hint they give in the above video is that you will be able to choose races from both factions and allow different race to class choices… (They show a primarily light-side Jedi race as a Sith Warrior fighting on Korriban) This leads me to believe that you might be able to race change, make a Sith Pureblood smuggler (which is a HUUUUUGE /slap in the face of Lore fans, but I digress)… lots of customization possibilities.

Thirdly, and not as exciting: They make some… very bland statements about Ranked PVP… something like the Ranked BG system recently put into WoW… no Arenas yet, but we’ll see. (Although Huttball is a lot like an 8v8 arena team if you ask me…) They’ve made mention of implementing more and more Warzones and Flashpoints (They specifically said we’d be getting another Warzone soon)
