As everyone knows, with last Tuesdays hot fixes, the firelands content has been severely nerfed. Blizzard thought process with this was to allow us a chance to experience the content before releasing 4.3, the Final content patch which will include Deathwing.

With this new change, I would like us to take another serious look at getting us all into a 25 man guild raid. The main issues, prior to the nerf, were that we didn’t have enough gear, experience and player quality that we currently have the advantage of since our move Dragonmaw. We now have this, and with the nerf I feel that the content should be plausible with our current guild setup.

Historically they do prove to be a little more challenging, however, they have also proved to be the most social and positive raiding experience that our community have had the chance to embark on. I know the 25 man raid layout isn’t for everyone, but from a raid management prospective, it does allow the ease of allowing everyone to play rather then micro managing the rosters. I trust everyone that is raiding understands the challenges we face with raid and guild leadership and will do their best to make it to the run.

We will be trying this for Tuesday the 27th, please accept your raid invites when you can on the calendar!
