WoW: Getting your Panda on!

Dragon soul was released November 29/2011 which is almost 9 months ago. Over the cross of those 9 months we have managed to pretty much drain the life out of all the content that Warcraft had to offer. We have all rolled alts that will most likely be collecting dust, jumped into the fray as an elite pvp’r, and some of us have even moved onto other games.

The World of Warcraft will always have a special place in our community, and as such I look forward to see what the next expansion has to bring. There are many radical changes that are happening to breathe new life into this almost ten year old game. Are there any features that you are looking forward to? Anything you are actually dreading? It should be interesting to see Blizzards answer to the next generation of MMO games that are out to take it out of its #1 slot.

I logged in for the evening last night to see where we sat player-base wise and I have to admit I was pretty excited at what I was seeing. I took a break from Warcraft for three months about four or five years ago, during that time the guild I was running (the original Deaths Desires) had actually disbanded without me. What I saw last night was that our crew is not only still there – but is thriving! For me this is an exceptionally good sign that when MoP is released, we won’t just walk into it… we’ll be charging!
