“Where is it?!” barked the General as he came crashing through the doors of the medical officers lab. inside the lab; Growlz, the chief medical officer, was hard at work on a massive piece of machinery.
“It will be repaired and refitted when it’s ready, General. Now please stop being so impatient and leave me to my work.” Growlz replied behind a dented up piece of metal “Besides, I’m a Doctor not a Mechanic! This is a little different then what I’m use to!”
“That’s not what Silverstrike promised! Why haven’t you asked Llama or Walt for help?” Panzer said clearly annoyed at Growlz.
“Well Walt has been gone for quite some time and Llama was called out to a special merc run with Zyley.” informed Growlz as he put his head back into the big worn out machine.
“A merc run?! Why wasn’t I informed?!” the general grumbled as he stormed out of the lab. It has almost been a full month since Karagga had been defeated and his battle tank had been claimed as a trophy. The idle time was clearing getting to him.
Panzer proceeded to the nearest communication console and frantically dialled into Zyleys holo communicator. A small image of a blue man appeared on the holoterminal.
“Silverstrike! Why wasn’t I informed about this Merc Run?!” the General spit out furiously.
“Calm down, Dawnstar. What are you talking about?” the blue figure responded.
“I have been sitting here for almost a full month. With only some lazy medical officer pretending to be a mechanic to keep me company! To top it off he’s the only one working on MY new battle tank which, by the way, hasn’t even been gold plated yet! Now I find out that there was a spur of the moment merc run that I wasn’t included in on?! I’m here for the damn money, not to keep your team looking reputable!” Panzer barked.
“I tried contacting you but you weren’t responding. Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about you.” Zyley smugly replied. “You should really learn to keep your communicator charged.”
Panzer took a step back from the terminal, looked down at his personal holo communicator and began to tap it with his index finger. he began to fidget for a few seconds and then simply stood there stunned unsure of how to respond.
“Well?” Zyley questioned.
Panzer looked around for a few seconds and then looked suddenly back at the little blue man on the holoterminal.
“I still expect my Tank to be ready for the next Operation!” Panzer quickly said as he rapidly turned the holoterminal off. Looking around he breathed out a very heavy familiar sigh…
“God damn it… Why aren’t these things solo powered?” The General said to himself quietly.
