Report from the frontlines

*static crackles from the transdimensional communicator*

It’s absolute mayhem over here! At first what was a peaceful leveling trek amongst the populace of the Kil’jaedin server, has now become all out war!

Alts have been ganked, mains have been brought, back up has been called for the mains. It’s a bloodbath.

You want to do your Tiller dailies?

Too bad, maggot! If you’re not fighting over mob-tagging with the 30 other people there, you’re being knocked off by the Panda Shaman using Thunderstorm.

Think its safe to grab that egg out at the Wind Serpent Dailies?

THINK AGAIN. Right as you click it, you’re swarmed by an Alliance egg hunting party. It’s a lot like Easter…

EXCEPT THAT YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR LIFE.

It’s heavily populated, so there is a log in queue during peak hours right now, but damn is it fun. They say the queue should go away within the next few days as the FOTM people go back to Guild Wars 2 or Borderlands 2. So far there is no end to the excitement, on top of what Blizzard has added to the game in general. I ran a few RBG matches the other night and we managed to run circles around a few of the groups… (One group in particular moved like a little kids soccer game: just one big huddled mass that never defended.)

As for World PVP, there is no shortage… though its hard to find level 90s outside the cities. Not enough world PVP objectives I think, but it sounds like that is changing come 5.1 so we’ll see! Otherwise I’ve engaged in several skirmishes that blew up into full on battles. The Sha of Anger raid parties have to bring 2 additional PVP raid groups to stop the Alliance from the stealing the kill. I found a good farming spot, but every once in a while someone gets a little greedy and tries to steal my spot… they learn the hard way.

Grokk out!
