Well, with the overwhelmingly positive response to our Community gaming idea It looks like we’re playing TF2! I wish that I had pushed this a little harder earlier on because the enthusiasm is incredible!

We’ll be doing a mix of games over the course of the next several months breaking them into “rounds”. At the end of each night, to determine which chapter wins, we’ll take a look at the players and their contributions (Including attendance per side, play skill, contributions, and overall team spirit) to determine which side wins the night. To be clear – the winning chapter will not be determined by just having good players in the game.

The suggestions have been pouring in and the most popular vote goes the Team Fortress 2. So WoW vs Swtor first round will be TF2.
Shammypants from our WoW Chapter says we’ve actually already have a Zergadins group in the stream servers for it so that’s where we are going to head first.

For those of you that are not familiar with steam you will need to download the steam installation files and setup an account. The Steam install can be found here: http://cdn.steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi after you set up your account run the client and search for Team fortress 2. Download it and you’re good to go. this game is FREE 2 PLAY so don’t panic if you can’t get any money together to buy a new game!

The next question is which night works best for everyone? Personally I think Wednesday night at 8:00pm – 10:00pm as it’s not booked for any regular raids I’m currently aware of – unless our Swtor guys say differently. Anyways put down your thoughts and lets see what works!
