Not huge accomplishments on any level what so ever, but I figured it would be good to post something positive about last night’s raiding festivities! While we’re all still scratching our heads as to why last nights Firelands run was so taxing and difficult; and that we didn’t down Ultraxion like we had planned. Even though we had the mechanics down fine; Ultraxion proved himself to be a little more bleeding edge the we had anticipated. After roughly an hour of wiping on him we realized that the boss wasn’t going down and decided to take some revenge on the new Tol Barad boss Alizabal.

It is apparent to me that we have hit our first real wall.  I don’t for a second believe that we are a bad raid team; and I would hope that everyone in the group would feel the same.  However, last nights Ultraxion does humble and as remind us that even though the first bosses in Dragon Soul were relatively easy, well… easy compared to most of the other Blizzard instances.  We really need to crack down; do those heroics, fill the low level gear spots, get our weekly cap of valor, run the LFR, and above all keep up current with the new class rotations that 4.3 has to offer!
