Zergadins Down Deathwing!

Okay.. not exactly, but we’re happy.  Last night we plunged into the madness that is the LFR match maker system with as many guildies as we could get online … which sadly was only 15.  However, this did give us a strong say in what strats we used and how we organized each fight. With that, a minimal effort was all we needed to straight up destroy.  “The siege of Wyrmrest Temple” and proceeded to the “Fall of Deathwing”.  Within two and a half hours we cleared both raid instances and managed to break Deathwing in half and steal all of his juicy loot.  Much fun was had by all!

Personally I throughly enjoyed the entire raid. It was mellow, chatty, and above all else fun. We even had several people in the guild que with us even though they had already done the raid earlier in the week; which of course meant there was no rolling on loot for them. The support is very much appreciated guys! The only complaint I could possibly have was the direction the loot went. We had no control over it as we were half pug, so we literally saw caster gear go to a feral druid. I did some research on that this morning and Blizzard has acknowledged the issue and plans to fix it… next expansion. At least that’s something.

“With Mists of Pandaria our expectation is that we will have the ability to detect spec, and so all of these issues go away for future raids. For Dragon Soul there will be some overlap, though, and it’s important you’re aware of the loot rules as due to the automated distribution system our support department will not be able to assist with any loot disputes while using Raid Finder.”

With the success of the Looking for Raid Finder I hope everyone will continue to join me every Sunday for a casual romp through the instance and we can continue a tradition that we tried to start back in ICC! See you in game guys!
