WoW – IT’S IRONDEATH TIME

It’s been a couple weeks now since I came back to play WoW. I’m having fun doing things fairly casually and trying to do what I can to get some old faces back to join us. It’s a pleasure to see everyone keeping busy and enjoying themselves!

One of the big regrets that I have is that I didn’t roll any lowbies in Cataclysm. I never really got a chance to see all the changes that they made to the leveling systems so I decided to roll an alt. Lora colorfully named him IRONDEATH and hilarity ensued! I played a warrior back in Vanilla and As Hellwolf put it – this would be a way to get back to my roots.  Immediately I saw the changes they made to the game; I was dropped Durotar just like in Vanilla but everything was a lot simpler to follow. Within minutes I hit my first level and started churning them out like they were going out style! I couldn’t help but think that I can remember when it wasn’t uncommon to have a /played of 19 days to reach level 60 – and at the rate I’m hitting these levels I would be 60 in a matter of 3 days.

Now, I’m not sure about the rest of you but every time I jump into a new character I tend to imagine the way that they would behave if they were their own person. Grokk would call in RP – but I tend to keep that to myself. I always imagined Panzer as an egotistical, vane, and carefree person – I always compared him to a Zap Brainigan with a personal Mirror in his back pocket that he can check his hair with in a moments notice. Calgore was a very happy-go-lucky healer that nothing could dampen his mood. Devastators sole purpose in life was to show that he didn’t have to have any training to be awesome… IRONDEATH? Well I imagine him being the orc that thinks he’s the perfect soldier… wither he is or not? Does it matter? IT’S IRONDEATH TIME!

I figure I can’t be the only one who does this, so how about it? What are your characters persona?
